Hansa Mehta Library starts orientation programmes at M S University

VADODARA: Before the beginning of the new academic year 2013-14, the Hansa Mehta Library of M S University has started organizing orientation programmes for newly admitted students at Sir Sayajirao Memorial Trust Library.
The orientation programmes at Sir Sayajirao Memorial Trust Library have begun for students enrolled in third year onwards including the masters' programme, PhD students, researchers, faculty members and international students.
The programmes that began on Tuesday will continue for two months between 11 am and 1 pm and between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm from Monday to Friday.
The programme is intended to familiarize the users and make them aware of the library resources and increase the use of these resources.
A power point presentation will be followed by visit to all sections in the library.
"Our city - Vadodara - is blessed with one of the top 20 university libraries of India - the Hansa Mehta Library which from decades caters the need of information to the faculty, researchers and students of the institution. The library has huge collection of documents, print journals, e-Journals, e-books, online encyclopedia, online thesis and many more open access resources are accessible from the website www.hmlibrary.ac.in," said MSU librarian Dr Mayak Trivedi.
